Instrument Systems is the technology and market leader for LED and display measuring systems based on spectroradiometry. Founded in 1986 in Munich, Germany, Instrument Systems develops and manufactures a broad spectrum of test & measurement equipment ranging from high-speed testers for wafer, dies and packaged LEDs on the production floor up to high-performance spectroradiometers for the lab.

A wide selection of fiber based measurement adapters and accessories like integrating spheres, goniometers and LED test sockets for each type of popular LED packages complete the product range in order to deliver turnkey solutions.

All relevant optical parameters like luminous intensity, luminous flux, spatial radiation pattern as well as chromaticity coordinates, color temperature and color rendering index can be measured fast and with high accuracy for single LEDs (high-power and standard), LED modules and OLEDs.

The systems conform to the guidelines of the International Commission on Illumination (CIE), meaning that they generate internationally comparable and reliable results.

Windows based spectral software is used to control the instruments and provide analysis of the spectral data. Using DLLs, the software can control other equipment such as positioners, current sources, etc.

Instrument Systems provides support for a global customer base with backup from a worldwide network of representatives.
