06/07/2006 - Yesterday was the first viewing by the North American Architectural Lighting and Specification community of the revolutionary LumeLEX™. The response was outstanding! The LumeLEX™ won “Best of Category” at the New Product Show Case on the opening day at Light Fair.

The LumeLEX™ was developed by LSI in conjunction with TIR Systems, working jointly since last October to develop a useful, white light system appropriate to our markets. Daniel Gelman, President of Lighting Services Inc, said: “The quality of light was paramount in the development of this fixture. We wanted to produce a solid-state fixture that would offer real benefits to our clients, but hadn’t found the right product until we saw the LEXEL™.”

To mark this major new product introduction, the LSI booth received a total make-over, with one area given over solely to the LumeLEX™, with special gobo projection and display areas.
