08/30/2006 - Luxembourg, NOCTRON Sarl, innovator and manufacturer of solid-state lighting technology, will introduce NOCTRIX and NOCTREL; two innovative patent pending high-power LED elements, which will set new standards for the solid state lighting industry. NOCTRON’s intent is to provide innovative lighting for design-oriented applications to meet the increasing demand for modern, energy efficient lighting solutions.
“We tested our NOCTRIX with a common phosphor mix and the results exceeded our expectations. However, NOCTRON’s recently invented phosphor-crystal mix (patent pending) increases the tested NOCTRIX light output at least by 10% - a breakthrough - not only important for NOCTRON’s LED elements”, states Dr. Frederic Tonhofer CEO of NOCTRON. NOCTREL is the first encapsulated high-power solid-state light element providing double-sided light output like an incandescent light bulb.
