Lextar Release High Power LED-Glow Series

Lextar has new line up – the “Glow” series, including 3030 and 5050, applicable to several applications for indoor lighting, as well as office and commercial lighting. Glow series show extremely life performance, it could widely replace traditional ceramic LED for indoor application, but much lower cost. Consider different driver design, Glow series also have several versions under different operating voltage. Lextar Glow series make your design simple and effective.

3030 Features:
•    Wide voltage ranging from 3 V, 33 V, 48 V to 67 V,
for all kinds of voltage system in different area
•    Excellent reliability, LM-80 ongoing
•    High efficacy:
3 V version efficacy is 160 lm/W for cool white at 65 mA;
6 V version efficacy is 138 lm/W for cool white at 150 mA; and
66 V version efficacy is 120 lm/W for cool white at 20 mA and 25°C
•    Hot color targeting compliant with ANSI
•    Offering 3-step and 5-step MacAdam Ellipse with 9 subgroups

Application suggestion:
•    GU9, GU10, PAR16, PAR20, PAR30, PAR38
•    Bulb
•    Candle lamp
•    Downlight

5050 Features:
•    10 V & 27 V options
•    3-step ellipse available
•    LM-80 qualified

Application suggestion:
•    Directional retrofit
•    Ommidirectional retrofit

The high efficacy models are PC33H10 and PC33H11. PC33H10 is a 3 V mid-power high efficacy solution, delivering 160 lm/W and an output of 29.6 lm at 5000 K CCT when driven at 65 mA. PC33H11 is a 6 V high-power high efficacy solution, yielding 138 lm/W and an output of 130 lm at 5000 K CCT when driven at 150 mA and CRI 80. The high-voltage LED 67 V version is available, which reaches 120 lm/W at 5000 K CCT; the flux output is 160 lm at 20 mA and CRI 80.

Lextar also released the 3030 HV LED roadmap – 67 V and 48 V versions are available now, and 33 V version will be available in May 2014. There are corresponding LED options for different voltage systems with different drivers. The luminaires, designed with high-voltage LEDs, can benefit from the better efficacy than low-voltage LEDs, but also enjoys simplified driver design, which can reduce both cost and space needed.

Furthermore, Lextar 3030 provides new binning that refers to the specifications of Energy Star offering CIE bin with 3-Step and 5-step MacAdam ellipse color bins with 9 subgroups and is available with CCTs of 2700 to 6500 K. CIE bin are sorted by hot color targeting and complied with ANSI. The 3030 high-power LED is applicable to retrofit lamps including GU9, GU10, PAR16, PAR20, PAR30, PAR38, bulbs, candle light, etc. The 3030 mid-power LED is applicable to downlight and wall-mounted luminaires including sconces.

The good color consistency is the most advantage for Lextar 5050. We have 3-step and 5-step MacAdam ellipse options to ensure the color homogeneity. In order to minimize the color shift due to temperature, 5050 is grouped by color coordinates at junction temperature of 85°C instead of room temperature.,

Multi-chip let the electrical design more convenient. Thanks to the high flux output, 5050 can save more space for directional lighting fixture. Moreover, it already has been qualified by LM-80 testing. Life over 35,000 hours at junction temperature 120°C, it could be relieved as using at strict environment.

High life performance, high lumen output, high color consistency but low cost, Lextar 5050 is the best choice among all SSL product.
