Samsung’s High-power LED Package Optimized for Outdoor Lighting – LH351B and LH351Z

Samsung Electronics reinforced its high-power LED line-up with the LH351B and the LH351Z. The LH351B features high efficacy (161 lm/W @ 5000 K, Ra70+, 85°C, 350 mA) with color stability. The advantage of LH351Z is optimal cost performance with 150 lm/W (@ 5000 K, Ra70+, 85°C, 350 mA) light efficacy. These packages are optimized for outdoor lighting applications, such as street lights and security lights that are used for extended periods of time, in which efficiency and reliability are crucial. The compact light source makes it easy to design second optic lens solutions, making it suitable for street lighting with complex designs for distribution of high-density lighting.

The LH351B and LH351Z are representative products in Samsung' high-power LED line-up and apply advanced flip chip structure. The flip chip structure utilizes Samsung’s own PSS (Patterned Sapphire Substrate) technology to achieve high brightness, and offers outstanding operating voltage level through electrode structure design for even distribution of current. Furthermore, Samsung’s own film phosphors technology can achieve outstanding color stability.

Both LH351B and LH351Z have completed 10,000 hours and 6,000 hours of LM-80 testing (@1000 mA, 105°C Ts) respectively.

Samsung Electronics is planning to continue presenting high power LEDs that guarantee outstanding performance and high reliability to the market.
