Photophyll™ Select LEDs Expand Spectrum Flexibility

Photophyll™ Select LEDs are redefining spectrum design for horticulture luminaires. Purpose-built to replace conventional white LEDs in two-channel white-plus-red systems, the technology delivers a higher proportion of useful green photons while minimizing excess red content. The result is the potential for up to 6% improvements in horticulture luminaire output and efficiency, or equivalent performance using fewer LEDs.

Photophyll Select is characterized entirely in horticulture metrics, including Red PPF content and Green/Blue ratio, eliminating dependence on CCT and CRI. Available in industry-standard 2835, 3030, and XP-G3 package platforms, devices offer typical performance up to 3.01 µmol/J and Green/Blue ratio options ranging from 1.0 to 3.0.
