Festive Feels Continue as LED Expo 2017 Is Scheduled from 30 November – 2 December 2017

LED Expo, India’s largest and the only exhibition for LED Lighting, products and technologies will open from 30 November – 2 December 2017. New Delhi will be lit up as LED Expo plays hosts to over 290 exhibitors from 11 countries, covering all aspects of LED lighting and applications that serve the cause of promoting LED and energy efficient, environment friendly and cost-saving technologies in India.

The exhibition that covers 15,825 sq mts across halls 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 12A, will have an array of technologies from countries like USA, Germany, Italy, China, UAE, Korea, Finland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and India. Eminent members from the light industry will be present at the inauguration of this key business trade show.

LED Expo is being strongly supported by government ministries and industry associations like Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Make in India); Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Digital India); Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Ministry of Power); Luminaire, Accessories, Components Manufacturers Association (LACMA); Indian Building Congress (IBC); Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA); Indian Building Congress (IBC); and Solar Energy Society of India (SESI).

The exhibition comes at an important juncture when the Indian government is aggressively pushing LEDs for all street lamps, residential and public space lighting. Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal launched the world’s largest LED street light replacement project in January completed by SDMC in south Delhi wherein two lakh conventional street lights were replaced with energy efficient LEDs. Supporting such projects, various products concerning power-saving technologies and advanced lighting systems will be launched or introduced for the first time at the three-day fair.

Messe Frankfurt also announced the launch of Future Zone, promoting Intelligent & Smart Lighting solutions for the nation. This platform will present next gen technology in the efficient lighting sector. The 17th edition of LED Expo will open up opportunities to explore diverse application areas that the LED lighting technology has to offer.
