BJB's SMD Push-to-Fix (P2F) Solderable Mounting Elements for LED Boards LED boards can be installed into luminaire housings in a variety of ways. And it's often an overlooked step in the luminaire assembly process, until something goes wrong due to faulty installation of course. The question of how best to implement this assembly process in technical terms also has considerable impact on the upstream and downstream processes - especially when taking warranty costs into consideration. With its solderable SMD-P2F fixing elements, BJB has developed a solution which makes the entire assembly process easier, faster and more cost-efficient for the entire value chain. A major advantage is that these fixing elements do not have to be attached as separate components, because they are already pre-installed to the PCB itself. The components are attached to the LED board during the standard SMT assembly process (pick-and-place and reflow soldering). Read more »

Its fixed frequency, peak current mode control accurately regulates current within ±1.5% for strings of up to 2A LEDs. Its integrated PWM generator offers a 128:1 dimming ratio. Cezos Introduced New Magnet Switch for Inside Cabinet LED Lighting Cezos is delighted to present their new magnet switch, L475T, which is a specialized controller designed to drive a LED light inside cabinets etc. Due to a 3-axes MEMS magnetometer sensor it can extremely precise detect minimal changes in the magnetic field. Therefore, the distance to the magnet can be wider than with traditional sensors (e.g. mechanical). The calibration algorithm detects the best axis when the door is opened for the first time, so the mounting direction is not relevant. The soft adjustment of the light protects the eyes. If the door will not be closed, the light turns off automatically after 15 minutes. Read more »
