Inventronics Brings to Market High Power Constant Current LED Drivers

Inventronics has announced the availability of two new series of constant current power supplies for SSL applications. The EUC-150S series is available in 12 different models. The EUC-200S series offers 14 different models with currents ranging from 700mA to 8330mA.

Both series provide 92% operating efficiency at the lower current levels and 90% efficiency at the higher levels. These new series are both approved to UL8750 as well as being compliant to EN61347. 
In addition to the high efficiency of these drivers, a specially designed aluminum case with a finned exterior enables the products to run cooler, significantly improving reliability and extending product life. The lifetime of these drivers is calculated at about 87,000 hours for the EUC-150S and 64,000 hours for the EUC-200S when operating at 80% load with an ambient temperature of 45°C.
The constant current output of these drivers simplifies luminaire design by allowing for the direct drive of LED strings.  Based on their high efficiency and long life the EUC-150S and EUC-200S prove to be an ideal choice for any lighting project where energy savings and lower maintenance costs are critical objectives.   Since these products were designed for street and area lighting applications, they also feature robust lightning protection as well as over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection. The rugged aluminum housing is IP67 rated allowing for use in indoor and outdoor applications.
