HCL LED Modules with Tuning Technology

MetroSpec Technology, a leading American manufacturer of custom LED light sources announces FlexRad® Dim2Tone™, a flexible LED light engine that dims and changes color tone with a single dimming source, enabling smooth color transition through blending.

Dim2Tone^™ is designed so a simple single channel dimming switch is all that is needed to blend two colors and achieve the desired light level and tone. Simply adjust the dimmer up and down to see the changing results from bright to dim as the color shifts from cool to warm. The intensity and tone of the light source track with the dimming switch. This innovative technology provides an easy option for a premium product without the added cost and complexity of specifying controllers for each fixture.

Dim2Tone is great for architectural, aesthetic commercial, hospitality, entertainment, and healthcare applications. Product offerings can be enhanced without major changes to fixture designs, providing new options in a competitive and high demand marketplace. Current technologies available for custom design in white and/or color CCTs are:

Single row of emitters with two alternating LED color temps;
Single row of emitters with a two color temp dual/die LED ; and
Two rows of emitters with different color temps in each row.
