IOTA Introduces Next Generation ILD Series Drivers with Reduced Form Factor and Enhanced Performance to Power Emergency Lighting

IOTA® announces the launch of its ILD Series Emergency Drivers, the next generation of emergency lighting technology designed to deliver improved performance, efficiency, and ease of use.

The ILD Series Emergency Drivers are Class 2 output emergency drivers with an integrated battery. ILD Series provides consistent illumination levels over a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency runtime with its Constant Power design to ensure non-diminishing light levels. It incorporates self-testing and user-selectable automatic diagnostics, providing convenient verification of system readiness and addressing mandated monthly and annual testing requirements for life safety codes.

Key features make the ILD Series ideal for both embedded luminaire design and for field installation of emergency drivers:

Reduced form factor – Up to 40% size and 50% weight reduction compared to previous generation products.
Simplified Connection – Quick Disconnect Harness enables fast and secure connections between the emergency driver, test switch, and LED luminaire with all in one 4-pin input and 6-pin output wiring harness.
AC Activate Intelligent Circuit Design – Helps initiate automatic battery connection once AC power is supplied, preventing the battery from discharging during shipping, and eliminating the need for manually connecting the battery at installation.
Certified to California T20 and registered in the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database (MAEDBS).
