Luger Research e.U. Celebrates 100th Edition of LED Professional Review Edition and Hosts Summit

Luger Research e.U. – Institute for Innovation & Technology, a leading media, event, and research company in the lighting sector, is celebrating a significant milestone with the publication of the 100th edition of its specialist authoritative magazine, LED professional Review. In addition, the company is organizing an advantageous lighting event on December 7.

LED professional Review (LpR) has been a bi-monthly staple in the industry for the past 17 years. The recently published Nov/Dec 2023 issue marks this milestone and anniversary for the media company Luger Research e.U. Over the years, LpR Magazine has evolved from a purely technological trade publication to a broader information platform, covering design and technology in the lighting sector. Its focus remains on general lighting, but it also features a wide range of application topics in its “Specials.” The anniversary edition includes a commentary by Nobel Laureate and white LED inventor, Prof. Shuji Nakamura, comprehensive design and technology reports, and a special section on automotive lighting.

The upcoming year will kick off with the Light + Building issue (Jan/Feb 2024, Issue 101), focusing on the internationallighting fair in Frankfurt, taking place in March.

Luger Research e.U. extends its gratitude to all contributors, the entire team, and especially to its over 45,000 readers and longstanding advertising clients for their loyalty and connection to the medium.

“Our goal is to provide high-quality, up-to-date, and in-depth information about lighting and its applications to our readers. The quality of information is our priority, and we aim to maintain and further develop this standard,” says Siegfried Luger, CEO and Publisher.

Luger Research e.U. is also the organizer of the annual LpS Digital Summit, which evolved from the annual symposiumin Bregenz. This year's event will take place online on December 7, 2023. Themed “Exploring Cross-Disciplinary Lighting Innovations,” the summit focuses on current trends across various lighting sectors. A panel of renowned experts from organizations, industry, and research will discuss the latest developments. Following the expert discussions, the annual LpS Digital Awards will be presented, recognizing excellence in products, systems, and sustainability. Submissions for the awards are open until the end of November. The registration platform for the event is also open, and participation is free of charge.

Luger Research e.U. thanks all partners for their long-standing collaboration and wishes everyone a peaceful Christmas season, holidays, and transition into the new year.
