With this certification, Luminext once again confirms its leading role in open, interoperable, and future-proof smart city solutions.
A new step in smart asset data and management
Smart lighting projects have traditionally focused mainly on lighting control and energy savings. While these provide major benefits, extensive possibilities for data-driven asset management have often remained limited in practice.
Thanks to the collaboration between the TALQ Consortium, the DALI Alliance, and the Zhaga Consortium, this is now changing. With the introduction of the new DALI D4i TALQ Zhaga profiles, cities, municipalities, and grid operators can now directly retrieve valuable luminaire and asset data from their lighting infrastructure. This enables more efficient maintenance, improved planning, and more reliable management of public lighting systems.
First certified implementation worldwide
As an active participant within the TALQ Consortium, Luminext played a direct role in the development of this new functionality. Shortly after the official publication of the standard, the Luminext software team successfully implemented and certified the new profiles.
