MetroSpec Technology®, the leading American manufacturer of custom FlexRad® LED light sources, announces its new FacetCore™ geometry set for architectural LED light fixtures requiring uniform lighting. With FacetCore, fuller light fills can be achieved while providing even greater uniformity. Geometries optimized for 90 degrees to 360 degree projection are realized using 1, 2, 3, or 4 sided wrapable facets. FacetCore geometries radically simplify various fixture types, eliminating mechanical parts and electrical wires and interconnect. They are a powerful solution - supporting lengths up to 16 feet without the need of a splice, utilizing available space minimally with ease.

With FacetCore geometries, power supplies can be completely hidden. Dark areas and unlit cavities are eliminated. Diffusers are uniformly lit.

Single-sided FlexRad is cuttable to almost any length, and fits easily in most channels and straight tracks, enabling variable fixture lengths customizable to less than one-inch increments. Specialized ladder-parallel interconnect technology maintains light level balance whether your cut lengths are inches or dozens of feet. The end result is high uniformity without being constrained by length. High-output strips are seamless, eliminating connectors or wiring between circuit boards.

Two-sided FacetCore can neatly and cleanly extend the light distribution from less than 120 degrees, to more than 180. It can be used to split the projection of light even further, making it possible to have a single light source perform up and down lighting simultaneously.

Three-sided FacetCore is used to uniformly fill shades and diffusers that require uniformity though greater than 270 degrees - without hot spots or shadows.

Four-sided FacetCore geometries project radial light with perfect uniformity and can be used for cylinders as small as 2 inches, symmetric radial shapes, as well as many types of globes.
