Analog Technologies Corp. Announces New LED Lighting Subsidiary Named Lumagine

Analog Technologies Corp., a leading provider of electronic design and manufacturing services announced today the launching of a wholly-owned subsidiary focused on high power LED integration for Solid State Lighting OEM’s. The newly formed operation, Lumagine, LLC will be responsible for design and manufacturing services of high power LED light engines and assemblies.

“Our experience with power conversion, mechanical and thermal design, electronics and manufacturing is a natural fit for high power LED lighting solutions” said Bill Berg, the President and CEO.   “We have been applying our core competencies to solid-state lighting by providing state-of-the art engineering and manufacturing solutions since 2001.  Lumagine was launched as a subsidiary to specifically address the emerging solid-state lighting market”.

Lumagine has hired Dave Bordeau who was appointed as Sales and Marketing Manager in May.  Bordeau is a seasoned industry executive with over 20 years experience in the electronics industry including 6 years as a market specialist for Future Lighting Solutions.  “ I am very excited about playing a significant role in launching Lumagine to help bridge the gap between traditional light sources and solid state lighting for those companies that could use our expertise in integrating high power LED’s into their products “ said Dave.  “We have several years experience in high power LED integration as well as some very unique manufacturing capabilities to help our customers quickly develop a highly reliable and competitive solid state lighting solution for their market”.
