Digital Lumens to Sell Intelligent Lighting System in Europe

Digital Lumens, leading developer of LED-based Intelligent Lighting Systems, today announced that the company will begin selling its products in Europe. Digital Lumens products have received CE listing validating that they meet requirements for safety, health, environment and consumer protection in Europe.

"Energy conservation is a global issue and we intend to offer our Intelligent Lighting System in all geographies," said Tom Pincince, President and CEO of Digital Lumens. "Europe has high energy rates, mature conservation policies, and customers eager to adopt new technologies."
"The rising cost of electricity is a global issue effecting industrial customers worldwide," said Chris Balp, Founder of LED-Solution LibertyLum, a Digital Lumens reseller partner in France. "Digital Lumens provides a compelling solution that reduces lighting energy use and costs, and we are excited to offer it to our customers who are searching for strategic and cost-effective strategies for reducing energy use."

Proven to reduce industrial facilities' lighting energy use by up to 90% and improve light levels, the Digital Lumens Intelligent Lighting System is redefining the industrial lighting market. The System includes a network of Intelligent Light Engines -- LED-based luminaires with embedded sensing, controls, and networking -- and the LightRules software for lighting system management and energy reporting.

Entry into Europe is the next step in Digital Lumens' strategy to make its solution available around the world. This follows on the company's certification for Mexico and Canada. Concurrent with the CE listing, the company received CB reports that will serve as the foundation for rapid certification in additional countries.
