Dr. Ulf Meiners, New Managing Director at Nichia Chemical Europe GmbH

Nichia Chemical Europe GmbH announced in a meeting with LED professional at LpS Bregenz that Dr. Ulf Meiners, has assumed the position Managing Director in October 2018. Dr. Meiners has more than 20 years of experience in semiconductor development and manufacturing. He is bringing with him to Nichia this experience in his previous role as Managing and Technical Director for a Compound Semiconductor Development and Production company.

Also, Giovanni Vecchio, has assumed the position Head of Sales and Marketing for Lighting in March 2018. Mr. Vecchio has a strong experience as a Sales Manager at Nichia for 5 years prior to his new role. He is known as a lighting expert in the community since many years due to his involvement in LED sales since 2011.

Together with Mr. Yusuke Yamazaki, as Head of Sales and Marketing for Automotive, Nichia has decided to create a combined Japanese and local management team in Nichia Chemical Europe GmbH to further support its growth and to guarantee the best support for its customers.
