TÜV SÜD Offers One-Stop Service for LED and Battery Products Covering the S-JQA Mark

The international quality and safety solutions provider TÜV SÜD supports manufacturers of LED and battery products all over the world in meeting the safety standards of the Japanese market. Following recognition by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA), TÜV SÜD can now provide the relevant product testing services for the S-JQA Mark.

The Japanese S-Mark issued by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) – generally known as S-JQA Mark – is a non-compulsory certification covering electrical and electronic products including lighting and battery products. According to the Japanese Denan Law, these products consist of two groups, Specified Products and Non-Specified Products. Manufacturers, traders and importers of Specified and Non-Specified products can apply for the S-JQA Mark certificate to prove the safety of their products.
The S-JQA Mark has a high reputation on the Japanese Market and among Japanese importers.

TÜV SÜD has obtained the recognition by JQA for its LED luminary and Battery safety laboratories in Singapore and the Peoples Republic of China. These recognized laboratories can conduct LED luminary and battery safety tests according to the S-JQA standard and provide export authentication services to LED luminary and battery businesses. Manufacturers worldwide can make use of TÜV SÜD´s global network to access the service of the JQA recognized testing laboratories. By providing a one-stop service, TÜV SÜD supports manufacturers throughout the preliminary product assessment, product testing, factory inspections and submission of the documentation required for certification to JQA.
