Inventronics Expands DALI-2 D4i Certified LED Drivers with added Features

Inventronics has expanded their new family of IP66/IP67 LED drivers with DALI-2 D4i certification provides OEMs the ability to monitor crucial driver information to reduce maintenance costs and the ability to plug and play controls. The expansion includes four different series that provide 75 W, 100 W, 150 W and 200 W power levels in addition to the existing 240 W models. The expanded EUM-Bx series allow for reduced inventory SKUs, streamlined production, increased design flexibility and a wide input voltage range of 90-305 Vac to assist world-wide applications.

The EUM-Bx family offers the time-saving feature of wireless programming via Near Field Communication (NFC) and can be configured without power or a mains connection, providing an effortless approach to programming.  The EUM-Bx family expansion offers four separate driver series.  The EUM-075SxxxBx providing full-power from 700-2100 mA, EUM-100SxxxBx from 700-2800 mA, EUM-150SxxxBx from 700-4200 mA and the EUM-200SxxxBx from 700-5600 mA. They can be programmed using the Inventronics PRG-NFC-D desktop programmer, PRG-NFC-H handheld programmer or any Zhaga Book 24 compatible programmers.

The EUM-Bx is equipped with an integrated 16Vdc Bus Power Supply providing power to the DALI bus and control devices making it easier to implement connectivity to create smart cities.  They also supply the additional D4i certification that can accompany DALI-2 allowing luminaire manufacturers compatibility with a wide range of application specific controls solutions. D4i makes crucial health and diagnostics data available so users can optimize their lighting system by reading data in real-time to increase energy savings, reduce maintenance costs and ensure consistent lighting.  Coupled with the integrated AC power monitoring, users can measure energy consumption and better evaluate their ROI.

The EUM-Bx family also utilizes Inventronics Controls-Ready features of Dim-to-Off and Always-On auxiliary power of 24 V, 125 mA so it can easily be paired with various sensors and provides a transient peak up to 10 W to allow for more controls, such as radios that tend to spike power periodically.

The EUM-Bx utilize a proprietary encapsulation process, rugged extruded-metal housing and are IP66 and IP67 rated. They also maintain an industry-leading surge protection of 6kV (differential mode) and 10kV (common mode) and specially designed to operate in harsh outdoor conditions and demanding applications such as high bay, high mast and roadway lighting.

The EUM-Bx family is approved to UL, FCC, ENEC, CE, CB, CCC, PSE, KS, KCC and Independent Use certifications with some models providing a global cable to be used world-wide (BG models), added convenience of UL Class P (BT models) and BIS certification (BB models). Production quantities of the EUM-075SxxxBx EUM-100SxxxBx, EUM-150SxxxBx,  EUM-200SxxxBx and EUM-240SxxxBx are available now.
