MaxLite Unveils ENERGY STAR® Qualified LED A Type Frosted Lamp

Ideal for usage in downlights, pendants, sconces, desk lamps and chandeliers, MaxLite unveils the 11-watt LED A Type Frosted Lamp featuring outstanding efficacy and lumen life maintenance, which has been added to the ENERGY STAR® list of qualified products. The versatile, fully dimmable lamp performs well in a broad range of residential and commercial applications where energy savings and minimal maintenance are preferred.

Features:
•    Lumens: 800
•    11 watts
•    3000K CCT
•    25,000 hour life (L70 standards)
•    Proprietary housing for thermo heat protection
•    CRI: 80
•    5 year limited warranty
•    Fully dimmable
•    Saves up to 90 percent on energy and operating costs

The LED A Type saves up to 90 percent in energy while replacing a 60-watt incandescent lamp. The LED lamp delivers a substantial efficacy of 72 lumens per watt, that directly correlates to the ENERGY STAR® program’s objectives of helping save money by reducing energy costs and protecting the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

“Our new LED A Type lamp offers outstanding energy efficiency with an extremely high efficacy that is one of the highest rated in the industry for all ENERGY STAR rated LED non-standard and omni directional A Type Lamps,” said Pat Treadway, MaxLite’s Vice President of Product Marketing and Engineering. “This lamp truly embodies MaxLite’s commitment to developing LED lighting products which emit quality light while consuming minimal energy.”

The lamp’s LEDs are matched for color and CRI to ensure consistency and quality. Lumen maintenance is greatly enhanced by the housing, which is a proprietary design that acts as a heat sink to provide thermal heat conductivity and maintain a low junction temperature, resulting in a cool operation, long lumen life and better performance.

MaxLite’s other ENERGY STAR-qualified lamps include LED globes, PARs and candle styles, and CFLs including spirals and covered A-types and PARs.
