The building blocks for smart lighting designs consist of the latest application and technology trends as well as cost and process optimization in the fields of light sources, optics, smart controls and sensors, thermal management and system integration. These topics will be discussed in a multifaceted 3-day conference at the LpS 2015, addressing decision makers and experts from science and industry interested in LED lighting trends and technologies. Parallel to the conference there will be an exhibition with over 100 companies showing leading edge innovations, products and services. The LpS is an international platform connecting science, industry, business and application in discussions about future trends and solutions for the global LED lighting industry.

Keynote speaker at the LpS 2014 and Vice President of Global Sales at Cree, Marc McClear, said, “The LED professional Symposium is a really important venue for not only local and European companies and suppliers but also internationally. It attracts a lot of people I know from all over the world and it has been a great learning experience for me.” More than 1,100 visitors from 34 different countries attended the LpS 2014 and according to the statistics over the past 4 years, an increase of at least 20% can be expected in 2015.
