Seoul Semiconductor Launches ZC, a Chip-On-Board Type DC LED Seoul Semiconductor, a Korean LED packaging company launched its Chip-On-Board (COB) Type of Direct Current (DC) LED, named ZC (Z-Power COB). ZC series, developed based on Seoul Semiconductor’s Z-Power LEDs which are mainly used as a light source of high-brightness and high-power, decreases thermal resistance, resulting in an exponential improvement in LED lighting product life expectancy. Sharp Expands Its Portfolio with Even Brighter LED Arrays The 50W Mega Zeni models from Sharp maintain the same compact dimensions and high CRI values, yet with considerably greater luminous fluxes. These have a light output of between 3590 and 4770 lm, a luminous efficiency of up to 100 lm/W in standard operating mode and a long service life of 40,000 hours at an operating temperature of up to 90°C. The new Mega Zeni modules are designed for a forward voltage of 50V and a forward current of 950 mA, but can also be operated with a standard power source of 1050mA. Other important features include: R9 values of over 85 with CRI values of over 90, MacAdam 3-step Ellipse binning, as well as good colour consistency and colour stability values over time under realistic operating conditions (hot lumen). Sharp's Expands Zenigata Series with the New Pico Zenigata LED Offering 15 – 72.5 lumens With the new Pico Zenigata LED series, Sharp completes its portfolio for high-performance LEDs. With just a single LED, the types of the GM2BBxxQK1C series achieve luminous flux levels of up to 24.5 lumens and an efficiency of up to 125 lm/watt. Luminous flux and efficiency of the other two series were improved accordingly: above all the GM2BBxxQKAC (2 LED dies) reaches up to 46.7 lumens with an effective power of up to 120 lm/W; the GM2BBxxQK0C (3 LED dies) radiate up to 72.5 lumens at an efficiency level of up to 120 lm/W. All three series are available with a typical CRI value of 83.
