New BJB LED Connector for Linear LED Modules: Book 21 Compliant Lampholders were standard in older, traditional lighting systems. Modern LED fixtures that utilize non-replaceable LEDs create several assembly and field-replacement disadvantages. Zhaga Book 21 addresses these shortcomings by standardizing linear 'socketable' LED modules. In accordance with Book 21, BJB has developed the new LED connector 47.303; a two-part fixing and electrical connection system, which enables LED modules to be installed and subsequently replaced as easily as conventional light sources. Incorporating the BJB 47.303 series results in reduced assembly costs and dramatically faster retrofit or replacement times. Read more »

BJB's SMD Push-to-Fix (P2F) Solderable Mounting Elements for LED Boards LED boards can be installed into luminaire housings in a variety of ways. And it's often an overlooked step in the luminaire assembly process, until something goes wrong due to faulty installation of course. The question of how best to implement this assembly process in technical terms also has considerable impact on the upstream and downstream processes - especially when taking warranty costs into consideration. With its solderable SMD-P2F fixing elements, BJB has developed a solution which makes the entire assembly process easier, faster and more cost-efficient for the entire value chain. A major advantage is that these fixing elements do not have to be attached as separate components, because they are already pre-installed to the PCB itself. Electro Terminal has developed the Microcon SMD Power connector to provide direct mains voltage supply to electronic PCBs within a lighting system.
